Anbar launches project to develop crossing points

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: The Anbar council launched on Tuesday a project to develop the work of the three crossing points to raise their revenues, head of the Anbar council’s investment committee said. “The Anbar council, in cooperation with the engineering and technical committees, launched on Tuesday (Sept. 7) a project to develop the three border crossing points in the province; Arar, Tarbiel and al-Tanf through the establishment of several garages for lorries coming from Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia,” Mezher Hassan told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The project includes also the establishment of a hotel,” he added. “The revenues will be used to finance the service and industrial projects throughout Anbar,” he explained.
