2.5 million Iraqi oil barrels transferred to Jordan since early 2010

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A total of 2.5 million Iraqi oil barrels have been transferred to Jordan since the beginning of 2010, according to the owner of the company which carry the Iraqi oil to Jordan. “According to the agreement signed between the Iraqi and Jordanian governments, 10,000 oil barrels are being transferred daily to Jordan through tankers,” Nail Ziyab told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that the tankers carry crude oil from Baiji refinery, north of Tikrit, to the Iraqi-Jordanian borders. “More than 400 tankers carry the crude oil from the Baiji refinery to the kingdom,” he noted.
