Turkish company expresses readiness to rehabilitate poultry project

DIWANIYA / IraqiNews.com: A Turkish company has expressed readiness to rehabilitate a poultry project in Diwaniya at a cost of 100 million dollars. This came during a meeting the chairman of the agriculture and water resources committee in Diwaniya, Baqer Ali al-Shaalan, held on Wednesday (Oct. 6) with a delegation of a Turkish company. “Talks with the Turkish delegation centered on efforts to re-operate the Babel poultry company in Khayri region, southern Diwaniya,” al-Shaalan told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that the local government expressed readiness to facilitate all difficulties that may face the company in Iraq. “The local government is serious in its efforts to attract foreign and local investments in Diwaniya to develop the local economy,” the official said.
