Karbala tops Iraq’s provinces in implementing reconstruction projects

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Karbala topped the Iraqi provinces regarding the number of reconstruction projects implemented in 20101, according to chairman of planning and reconstruction committee of Karbala council. “The province has succeeded to implement nearly all projects in 10 months,” Dr. Abbas Nasr Hassani told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The finance ministry allocated 90 billion dinars for Karbala to implement scores of projects in various sectors,” he added, pointing out the province implemented more than 90% of the planned projects, and the remaining will be implemented this month and the next one. Karbala is 108 km south of Baghdad. SH (P) 49
