French, Turkish, Indian companies want to invest in Wassit

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The Wassit Investment Commission received investment offers from French, Turkish and Indian companies, chairman of the WIC said on Monday. “The French company expressed readiness to invest a mountain in Badra district, east of Kut, to produce cement,” Sadeq Howeidi told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that the company seeks to establish a factory to produce cement in the region. “The company presented other offers to set up low-cost houses in the province,” he added. “An Indian and Turkish companies presented offers to invest in the pharmaceutical industry,” Howeidi said.
