39 armed groups’ leaders detained in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces on Wednesday arrested 39 leaders of armed groups in separate areas of Karbala, according to a security source. “Acting on a tip-off, Quick Response Department forces waged precautionary operations in Karbala, during which 39 leaders of armed groups were arrested,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Three gunmen fled and security forces are searching for them,” he added.
