Three civilians injured in attack on Shiite procession in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Three civilians have been wounded in an explosive charge blast against a Shiite procession in Baghdad, security source said non Thursday. Iraq is witnessing today huge processions by over one million people, mostly Shiites from Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other world countries, with Shiite communities, to commemorate the anniversary of Imam Hussin‘s martyrdom in southwest Iraq‘s holy city of Karbala in the 7th Century ad. A number of processions had been target for armed men attacks over the past few days, killing and wounding several Iraqi and Iranian Shiites, attending the processions. SKH 42
