Commander of “terror” cell nabbed in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces arrested a ranking gunman in Karbala, a local police source said on Tuesday, describing the gunman as a “commander of a terror cell.” “The cell is accused of carrying out armed operations,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He explained that the arrest operation relied on intelligence tip offsa. “The arrest was according to a judicial warrant that was issued for terror accusations,” the source added. He noted that interrogations are underway with the gunman to uncover the operations he is involved in, as well as the sides that support him.
