IED injures 2 cops in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Two policemen from the Kurdistan region were wounded in an improvised explosive device blast in Kirkuk, a source from the joint coordination center said on Monday. “An explosive charge went off on Monday morning (Oct. 4) targeting a vehicle of the Independent High Electoral Commission in Kurdistan in al-Matar (Airport) street in southwestern Kirkuk, injuring two policemen,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
