Cluster bombs found, 3 wanted men detained in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Cluser bombs were found and three wanted men were arrested in separate incidents in Kirkuk, a source from the Joint Coordination Center in Kirkuk said on Friday. “A police force found on Thursday afternoon (Nov. 11) five cluster bombs on the Kirkuk-Tikrit road near Tikrit checkpoint, southwest of Kirkuk,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that an explosive expert detonated the five bombs without damage. “A U.S. patrol arrested two gunmen while planting an explosive charge on al-Huwieja-al-Manzala road near al-Sieha village, southwest of Kirkuk,” he added. “A joint Iraqi force arrested a wanted man at Kirkuk-al-Huwieja checkpoint, southwest of Kirkuk,” he said.
