Three citizens killed in different incidents in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: A Kirkuk citizen has been killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on him late Friday night, whilst a women committed suicide and another man was killed in a traffic accident in the city on Saturday, a source of the Joint Coordination Center in Kirkuk said on Saturday. “A citizen was shot dead at 10:30 pm local time Friday, when armed men opened fire on him in front of his house in central Kirkuk‘s Musalla district,” the source told IraqiNews.com. The same source also said that a 30-year-old woman had committed suicide by shooting herself dead by a Kalashnikov gun, in western Kirkuk‘s al-Failaq district, at 10:00 pm local time, whilst her husband was detained under investigation. He also said that a man has died when a civilian car crashed him in the Korniche Street south of the city and the driver had escaped to an unknown destination. Kirkuk is 280 km to the northeast of Baghdad. SKH/SR 2
