6 wanted men captured, IED defused near Amara

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: Policemen captured six men wanted on criminal charges and defused an improvised explosive device (IED) east of al-Amara city on Saturday, according to a police spokesman in Missan province. “Police forces conducted a search raid in the district of al-Kahlaa, (18 km) east of al-Amara, capturing six men wanted on charges of premeditated murder,” Ghassan Adnan Hammoudi, the Missan police department’s relations & information director, told IraqiNews.com news agency.
