Security forces capture wanted person in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces arrested on Wednesday a wanted man, for his involvement in a network that finance armed operations, in eastern Mosul, a source from the National Investigation office in Ninewa said. “Acting on a tip-off, a force from the National Investigation office in Ninewa arrested on Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 13) an important wanted man,” the source, who preferred to remain anonymous, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The man was blackmailing citizens along with his network to gather money to finance the armed operations of the Islamic State of Iraq group in Mosul,” he explained. Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, is 405 km north of Baghdad. SH (P) 1
