4 policemen wounded in IED blast in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Four policemen were wounded when an improvised explosive device went off near their patrol in southern Mosul city on Sunday, a local security source in Ninewa said. “Four policemen were wounded when an IED blast targeted a patrol from al-Qiyara police department in al-Mansour neighborhood, southern Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. Ninewa on Sunday (Oct. 17) witnessed the death of a soldier and the injury of an officer in the rank of major when an IED went off near their patrol in the village of al-Sakkar, al-Biaj district, west of Mosul.
