Car bomb leaves 8 casualties in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One Iraqi soldier was killed and seven others were wounded in a car bomb explosion in western Mosul on Monday, according to a police source. “A car rigged with explosives went off Monday afternoon (Oct. 18) targeting a U.S. vehicle patrol in al-Zanjieli region, western Mosul, killing an Iraqi soldier and injuring seven, including three soldiers and a policeman,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
