Corpse found, child wounded in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces found an unknown corpse, while a child was wounded in two separate incidents in Mosul city on Tuesday. “The unknown corpse was found in al-Harmat area, western Mosul city,” a local police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He explained that the dead body belongs to a young man, around 17-year old, and was found handcuffed with signs of gunshots in the head and chest. In a separate incident, the same source said that “a child was wounded when a roadside bomb hit an Iraqi army patrol in al-Suqar neighborhood, northern Mosul,” without giving any further details. Mosul, the capital city of the Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
