Person wounded in Ninewa’s Talaafar blast dies

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One of the persons, wounded in an explosion on Thursday night in Talaafar city of northern Iraq’s Ninewa Province, has died in hospital on Friday night, rising the number of deaths to 4 and wounded to 14, most of them in serious conditions,” according to a Ninewa medical source on Saturday. “The victim’s injury had been serious and his treatment had failed, whilst some of the wounded persons have left hospitals, where some of the wounded persons stayed due to their serious conditions,” he told IraqiNews.com news agency. A security source had informed IraqiNews.com on Thursday night that an explosive charge had blown up inside a shop for selling birds in Talaafar’s Qadisya area, killing 3 persons including a child and wounding 15 others, 8 of whom were treated in north Iraq’s Kurdistan Region hospitals.
