Gunman detained, Talafar vehicle ban lifted

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Security authorities on Wednesday lifted the vehicle ban imposed on Talafar in western Mosul, while policemen arrested a gunman in Ninewa, an official source said. “Security authorities decided today to lift the ban imposed on vehicles and pedestrians in Talafar after the series of explosions that hit Baghdad on Tuesday (Nov. 1), during which scores of people were killed or wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “A police force arrested a gunman suspected of having links to the recent blasts on Talafar-Sinjar road, where one was killed and five were wounded,” the same source said.
