Policeman killed by unknown armed men in central Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A policeman has been killed by unknown armed men in north Iraq‘s city of Mosul, the center of north Iraq‘s Ninewa Province, a Ninewa police source said on Saturday. “A policeman, enjoying his week-end in Mosul, has been killed on Saturday, when a group of known armed shot him dead in central Mosul,” he said. He added that the “victim, who had been working in Ninewa Province’s Council, was killed in Sarijkhaneh district in Central Mosul, by unknown gunmen before they escaped to an unknown destination.” Mosul, the center of Ninewa Province, is 405 km to the north of Baghdad.
