2 cops killed in armed attack in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Two policemen were killed in an attack waged by unidentified gunmen on a checkpoint in western Mosul city on Sunday, according to a local security source in Ninewa. “Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a federal police checkpoint in the area of al-Borsa, western Mosul, today (Dec. 5), leaving two policemen wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
