Civilian shot dead near his house in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A civilian man was shot down by unidentified gunmen fire in front of his house in western Mosul city on Saturday, a local police source in Ninewa said. “Unknown gunmen opened fire on a civilian man in front of his house in al-Amil neighborhood, western Mosul, killing him instantly,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The victim used to work as a driver of a cab on the Baghdad–Mosul road and carry army and police personnel from their units in Mosul to their houses in Baghdad,” the source added.
