Kurdistan parliament postpones session

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The parliament of Kurdistan region decided on Tuesday to postpone its session until the afternoon, having not reaching an agreement among blocs on forming a higher electoral commission in the region, a parliamentary source said. “The session, scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 26), was postponed until 4:30 p.m. to discuss the draft law on the formation of a higher electoral commission in Kurdistan,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency, asserting that the parliament‘s chairmanship meeting with heads of parliamentary blocs, which lasted until 2:00 p.m., failed to reach an agreement in this regard.
