Massoud Barzani praises development of relations with Georgia

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: President of Iraq’s Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, on Monday welcomed boosting relations with Georgia, according to a presidential statement. “The president received Georgian ambassador to Iraq in Salah al-Din resort, with whom he discussed ways of boosting bilateral relations in different fields,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The ambassador praised the recent developments and stability in Kurdistan, expressing hope that the Georgian consulate would open its doors in the region soon and his country’s companies would participate in the reconstruction operations in Kurdistan.
