President Barzani heads for Rome

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: President of Iraq’s Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, left Arbil on Wednesday heading for Rome to take part in the general meeting of the Alliance of Democrats, according to a presidential statement. “The president will deliver a speech in which he will talk about peace, democracy and political process in Iraq,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “In his speech, President Barzani will highlight the importance of forming an Iraqi government based on consensus and the participation of all political blocs,” it added.
