SIIC chief holds talks with Egyptian diplomat

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council (SIIC), Ammar al-Hakim, discussed on Thursday with Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister, Mohammad Qassem, the ongoing talks to form the new government, according to a SIIC statement. “The meeting, attended by a number of Iraqi diplomats, tackled means to foster bilateral relations and the ongoing talks to form the new government,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
