Nejeifi named parl. speaker, Suhail – Tayfour deputies

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Initial agreements during a parliament session on Thursday confirmed Osama al-Nejeifi as a speaker while Qusai al-Suhail from the Sadrist Movement of Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sadr and Aref Tayfour from the Kurdistan Alliance as deputies, a source said. “Political blocs agreed to name Nejeifi as parliament speaker and Qusai al-Suhail and Aref Tayfour as first and second deputies respectively,” Fattah al-Sheikh, a member of the al-Iraqiya bloc, told IraqiNews.com news agency.
