Iraq’s Turkomen’s Candidate for Vice-President’s post demands granting them leading posts:

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Candidate of Iraq‘s Turkomen Bloc for the Vice-President’s post, Mohammed Mahdi al-Bayati, has called on other political blocs to support the demands of Turkomen to grant them a leading post in the new Iraqi government. “Bayati is demanding the political blocs to achieve their commitment to continue their support for the Turkomen’s demands, inorder to grant them a leading political post, along with two ministries in the new cabinet, being a nationalist and electoral right,” according to a statement, issued by the Turkomen bloc, received by IraqiNews.com news agency on Sunday. Bayati has also demanded the Iraqi Parliament to “allocate a special fund in Iraq‘s 2011 state budget so support the Turkomen areas, that had suffered marginalization and destruction during Iraq‘s former Baath regime, along with the terrorist attacks that destroyed dozens of their houses and killed hundreds of them, especially in the northern towns of Amerli, Tuz-Khurmatu, Taza, Daqouq, Bashir, Talaafar and Khazneh.
