Iraq’s President attends funeral of former PM Silvio Berlusconi in Milan

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Iraq’s President, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, attended the funeral of former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. The funeral was conducted in Milan’s Duomo Church, and was attended by Siwan Barzani, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Italy.

The Iraqi President expressed his sympathies to Italian President Sergio Mattarella, the Italian government, and the deceased’s family and loved ones.

For decades, Italy’s three-time Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi shaped the country’s political environment. His influence extended beyond politics, as he also made significant contributions to the business sector, particularly through his media empire, Mediaset.
