2 security men killed, 6 wounded in Samarra blasts

SALAH AL-DIN / IraqiNews.com: Two security were killed and six others wounded when two improvised explosive devices went off in unison in central and eastern Samarra city on Sunday, a local police source in Salah al-Din province said. “Two pro-government sahwa (awakening) tribal fighters were killed when an IED went off in al-Qadissiya neighborhood, central Samarra,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “In another incident nearly at the same time in al-Huweish neighborhood, eastern Samarra, four National policemen were wounded in an IED attack,” he added.
