Iraqi soldier kills 2 U.S. soldiers east of Tikrit

SALAH AL-DIN / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi soldier killed two U.S. servicemen inside a camp in Touz Khourmato district in Salah al-Din, a security source said on Tuesday. “Soldier Souran Marf Saleh shot and killed two U.S. soldiers inside the camp of the 4th brigade of the Iraqi army in Touz Khourmato, northeast of Tikrit,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The U.S. soldiers killed the Iraqi soldier on the spot,” he added, noting that security authorities started an investigation into the incident. Tikrit, the capital of Salah el-Din, lies 175 km north of Baghdad. SH (P) 1
