THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: An Iranian gang practicing robbery against goldsmith shops in southern Iraq’s Nassiriya city has been detained according to intelligence information, following several double-crossing and robbery of several trade shops, especially goldsmith shops in the city, according to a Thi-Qar security source on Sunday. “The two-man and two-women gang was detained during their attempt to rob a goldsmith shop in Habbouby Street in Central Nasiriya,” he said, adding that the gang “was recognized by owners of shops that had been robbed recently and the raising of court cases against them,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
