Basra allocates ID25b to provide cancer medicine

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Basra appropriated the sum of 25 billion Iraqi Dinars (ID) to provide treatment and medicine to patients with cancerous tumors, according to a statement by the province administration on Sunday. “The provincial council, in agreement with the local administration, appropriated 25 billion dinars to obtain medicine to cancer patients being treated at the health centers in the province,” read the statement as received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The oil-rich port city of Basra, Iraq’s only outlet to waterways, lies 590 km south of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. AmR (P) 1
