Lunatic man kills sister, wounds 4 family members in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: A mentally-retarded man killed his sister and wounded four of his family members in southern Iraq’s Kut city, a local security source said on Saturday. “The man opened fire on his family, killing his sister and wounding four others of his family members, including his mother, in their house in central Kut’s Damuk district. The man used a pistol that belonged to one of the family members,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said the body of the deceased woman was rushed to a local morgue while the wounded to hospital for treatment. He noted that authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to uncover the motives and determine the mental condition of the man.
