U.S. soldier dies of wounds in Wassit

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: A U.S. soldier died on Wednesday of wounds sustained by a sniper in north of Kut, according to a well-informed source. “The soldier, who was seriously wounded this afternoon by a sniper in al-Nuaamaniya district, north of Kut, died,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that the medical team in al-Nuaamaniya military hospital failed to save his life as his wounds were deadly,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
