Bike ban in Wassit as U.S. soldier wounded by sniper

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Police forces announced on Wednesday a ban on bikes until early Thursday as U.S. soldier was wounded by a sniper in north of Kut, a police source said. “A ban on motorcycles was imposed in Wassit on Wednesday as of 7:00pm until 6:00am on Thursday (Dec. 9) after a sniper shot and wounded a soldier of The U.S. Provincial Reconstruction Team in al-Nuaamaniya district, north of Kut,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
