Ranking officer’s nephew killed in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Unknown gunman on Thursday killed the nephew of a ranking intelligence officer in Kut city, Wassit province. “A gunman wearing a facemask opened fire today in central Kut targeting the nephew of a ranking intelligence officer,” a local police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He explained that the gunman was able to escape after that. “The officer was transferred to Amara city a few days ago,” the source added.
