Six people killed, 45 others injured, in Ramadi attacks:

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: The result of two attacks that took place in Ramadi, the center of west Iraq’s Anbar Province on Monday, has reached 6 people killed, among them 4 policemen and wouding 45 others, including 9 policemen, a Ramadi Police source said. “A suicide bomber, wearing an explosive belt, who tried to break through the main entrance of Ramadi’s Government Compound, who exploited the gathering of citizens and medics close to a venue of a suicide attack in a booby-trapped car, but security men had prevented him to enter the area, had blown himself up,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency, adding that the preliminary result of both explosions had reached 6 people, killed, among them 4 policemen and 45 others wounded, including 9 policemen. Ramadi, the capital of Anbar Province, had witnessed on 12/12/2010 a suicide booby-trapped car explosion against a checkpoint, close to the first gate of Anbar Government’s Complex, killing 6 people and wounding 18 others, followed by another explosion of a barrel, filled with explosives, planted by unknown gunmen at the entrance of Baghdad Garage, close to the said complex in Ramadi, but caused no casualties. Ramadi, the center of Anbar Province, is 110 kms to the west of Baghdad. AD (A) / SKH 48
