Eight killed, seven injured in west Iraq’s Anbar suicide attack

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com – At least 8 persons have been killed and 7 others injured in an attack by a suicide bomber, wearing an explosive belt, targeting an Iraqi government bank in west Iraq’s Anbar Province on Thursday, an Anbar police source said.   “A suicide bomber, wearing an explosive belt, has blown himself up inside a gathering of Army and police men, close to the Rafidain Bank in west Anbar’s Haditha city. Employees were there to receive their salaries. The explosion killed 4 soldiers, 4 civilians and wounded 5 army men and 2 civilians,” the police source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   Ramadi, the center of Anbar Province, is 110 km to the west of Baghdad.
