Armed men kill, wound 4 family members in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Two civilians were killed and two more, from the same family, were wounded on Wednesday by gunmen in southeast of Falluja, a security source said. “An armed group attacked on Wednesday (March 9) a civilian house in al-Makheirja village, southeast of Falluja, where they threw a hand grenade inside the house, killing a man and a woman and injuring two from the same family,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Police sealed off the whole area and started to hunt down the attackers,” he added. Falluja is 60 km west of Ramadi, the capital of Anbar, which lies 110 km west of Baghdad.   SH (TP)/SR 989
