Five persons detained for corruption charges in Anbar
ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Five persons have been detained under charges of getting bribes to appoint employees in the education departments of west Iraq Anbar’s Ramadi and Falluja cities, an Anbar Council Member said on Saturday. “Five persons, charged with getting bribes to appoint employees in the education offices of Ramadi and Falluja, have been detained, according to inspections by the Integrity committees to fight administrative and financial corruption,” the Anbar Council member told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said the five detainees were 3 employees, a woman and a fifth person, working as a mediator between the employees and citizens looking for government jobs. Ramadi, the center of Anbar Province , is 110 km to the west of Baghdad . SKH (ST)
