Relatives of Anbar victims striving to raise judicial case against former U.S. President

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: A number of relatives of victims of the American military operations in west Iraq ’s Anbar Province are striving to raise a judicial case against former U.S. President, George Bush, whose forces have killed a number of their sons in the Province during the years that followed Iraq ’s occupation in 2003.   “I have lost five of my sons in the first and second battles in 2004.. What was the guilt of my sons, who were killed by the American Army, as now I am addressed as “the Father of Martyrs,” the Citizen of Anbar’s city of Falluja , Najim al-Mohammady (53), told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said that “there isn’t a single house in Anbar, whose family had not lost a martyr or two, along with thousands of peoples lost, due to U.S. President, George Bush’s decision to involve his forces in terrorizing innocent citizens and killing them.”   “Hundreds of relatives of martyrs, who lost their sons,   have decided to raise a judicial case against the former American President, and we shall assign a number of lawyers to revenge for part of the sacrifices made by Iraqis and to account the occupier for his acts,” Mohammady said.   On his part, Ramadi citizen, Yassin Khamis (49), told IraqiNews.com news agency that he had heard media statements few days ago that the U.S. Administration had “demanded Iraq to pay compensations for their soldiers, who occupied Iraq, destroyed its institutions   and killed its innocent people, thing that we put one thousands question marks due to the silence of the Iraqi Parliament members for till now.”   “During 2005 and 2006, Ramadi had witnessed battles between the American Army and the armed men, during which two of my sons, were killed inside our house, in an attack launched by the U.S. Army in northeast Ramadi,” Khamis said.   He said that “he had noticed in his meetings with a number of families, reporting to government offices to raise demands to get the rights of their martyred sons, that they have decided to raise a case against the Former American President.. So, I joined them in raising another judicial case against the officials of the Iraqi government, who took power after 2003, and did not reckon the danger suffered by the Iraqi people, due to their attempts to keep their posts, through any means.”   The female citizen, Khawla Taha (32), also from Ramadi, told IraqiNews.com that “the Iraqi political blocs and parties are after gains and raise red papers to expel those who they don’t wish from the Parliament, but we shall act according to the law to restore the rights of our sons from the American Army, who killed them and to account those who were in power in the Iraqi government and supported them.”   “I have lost my brother and son in 2006, when the American Army attacked the house of one of my relatives in Khalidiya township and killed them, claiming that fire was shot from the house against a U.S. Army patrol. But all those had been mere justifications, especially that my brother was handicapped during the Iraq-Iran war and son did not exceed 10 years of age,” she said.   Taha demanded Anbar officials and the judicial and humanitarian organizations to “support the Anbar citizens efforts to raise a judicial case against Bush and non-postponement of our demands by some parties in Anbar.”   Meanwhile, the Chairman of the al-Amal Organization, Sabah al-Zuba’e, told IraqiNews.com that “the demands of the families of the martyrs and the lost people to raise a judicial case against former U.S. President, George Bush, are legal, due to the fact that the killing of civilians, took place by the American Army, according to orders of their Commands, led by the former U.S. President.”   “We shall strive, together with a number of Iraqi organizations, to support the demands by Anbar families, whose sons were killed, to address international organizations to help the judicia
