3 murdered brothers found in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi police force in west Iraq’s Anbar Province has found the bodies of three brothers, with their heads chopped off, after their abduction 10 days ago, according to a security source on Monday.   “An Anbar police force has found the bodies of three brothers, with their heads chopped off, at the Saad Military Base, belonging to the former Iraqi Army, close to Rutba township, 280 km to the west of Ramadi, the center of Anbar Province,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said that one of the victims had been a candidate for the post of the Mayor of Rutba township, called Ahmed Awad al-Qubeisy, the second was a preacher in the township’s mosque, adding that the three brothers were abducted from Rutba township 10 days ago.   Ramadi, the center of Anbar Province, is 110 km to the west of Baghdad.   SKH (TS)/SR 621
