Tanaf border crossing with Syria closed

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Security sources said today that Iraqi forces closed the Tanaf border crossing with Syria after military operations conducted on the Syrian territories.  The source told IraqiNews.com that “Iraqi forces have closed the crossing until further notice.”  The source added that the closure was made following Syrian military operations in the Syrian Abo Kamal city, near the Iraqi borders.  “The closure was conducted fearing terrorist intrusion into Iraqi territories,” the source added.  RM (TP)/SR 753
