Fourth explosion in Anbar Province injures 3 persons

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: A suicide bomber, wearing an explosive belt, blew himself up in front of the police center of Haditha township in Anbar Province on Monday, wounding 2 policemen and a civilian. This makes it the fourth explosion in the Province on the same day, a security source reported.   “A suicide bomber, wearing an explosive belt, has blown himself up on Monday morning at the entrance of the police center of Haditha township, west of Anbar Province, wounding a civilian and 2 policemen, along with killing the suicide attacker,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   “The police tried to foil the suicide bomber’s attempt to blow himself up, opening fire on him when he refused to stop close to the police center’s reception office, but he blew himself up, while he was being fired on by the police,” he said.    West Iraq’s Anbar Province had witnessed 3 explosions on Monday, the first in Saqlawiya village, north of Falluja, the second city, the second in Hit township and the third in Ramadi, the center of the Province, 110 km to the west of Baghdad.   SKH (TS)/SR 712
