UAE’s President receives Iraqi Kurdistan’s PM in Abu Dhabi
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received on Thursday the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Masrour Barzani, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Al Nahyan discussed with Barzani the relations between the UAE and Iraq in general and the Kurdistan region of Iraq in particular, as well as ways to support and strengthen cooperation between both sides to serve the interests of both countries, WAM mentioned.
The news agency illustrated that the two sides also exchanged views on several issues of common interest.
Senior Emirati officials, including the UAE’s Vice President, Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince, Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; the Ruler’s representative in the Al Dhafrah region, Hamdan Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan; and the Advisor of Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, attended the meeting, WAM added.
