Meeting of Iraqi Kurdistan’s parties to convene in Arbil on Monday

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: An important meeting is scheduled to convene in Arbil, the capital of north Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, under chairmanship of its Premier, Barham Saleh, on Monday, to be attended by all Kurdistan parties, including the Goran (Change) Party, the Kurdistan Premier’s office said. “The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), the Kurdish Democratic Party (KDP), Goran (Change) Movement, Kurdistan Islamic Union, the Islamic Group, the Kurdistan Socialist Party and the Iraqi Communist Party, as well as all other Kurdistan’s groupings, shall attend the meeting,” the statement, copy of which was received by IraqiNews.com news agency added. The statement stressed that the meeting “will take place to discuss the current situation in Kurdistan that witnessed demonstrations, demanding reforms in Kurdistan Region.” SKH (TP)/SR 499
