Iraqi Kurdistan’s Premier reaffirms necessity for cooperation between Parliament, Government – Political blocs.

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com- North Iraq Kurdistan Region’s Premier, Barham Saleh, has reiterated, in a meeting in Arbil with the leaders of Parliamentary blocs in Kurdistan Parliament, necessity for developing cooperation among Kurdistan Region’s Parliament, its Government and all political blocs in the Region. “The meeting, held on Friday in the building of Kurdistan’s Council of Ministers in Arbil, attended by the Deputy Speaker of Kurdistan Parliament, Arsalan Bayiz, that discussed the issue of the election of the councils of provinces and the draft-law of the budget of the political parties, in which Saleh “had reiterated the significance of cooperation between Kurdistan’s Parliament, Government and all political blocs, represented in the Kurdistan Parliament,” a statement by the Kurdistan government said. It said that the meeting had also reaffirmed “the significance of the law on the elections of the Provinces Councils, and necessity to create a suitable and free platform for the elections, in addition to the discussion of the mechanism of carrying out those elections, along with the budget of political parties and mechanism of granting and distributing that budget on parties and organizations.” ST / SKH
