Kurdistan parl. to debate 3 bills Monday

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Kurdistan region’s parliament is debating on Monday three draft laws with the exception of the 2011 budget, according to a Kurdish legislator on Saturday. “The region’s parliament will devote the forthcoming session on Monday (May 2) to debate draft laws on the asayesh security forces, another on the asayesh organization and a third on the amendment of the Kurdish Academy law,” Srour Abdul-Rahman told IraqiNews.com news agency. He noted that the parliament will not be able to debate the draft budget for the region as the ad hoc committees’ reports are not finalized so far. AmR (TP)/SR 569
