Discussions to increase social security salaries in Kurdistan

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Kurdish Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs discussed with a number of advisors the question of increasing social security salaries in Arbil, Sulaimaniya, and Duhuk provinces.  In a statement issued by the ministry,  it was noted that Minister Asos Najeeb Abdullah held discussions to increase the social security salaries to 150,000 dinars during the discussions of the Region’s budget.  It added that the ministry is trying to amend regulations and arrange proper mechanism for paying previous months salaries, starting from 1 January, 2011.
