Photography show opens in Arbil

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: A photography show was held today at the Media Gallery in Arbil, with 13 photographers participating.  The show was organized by the Fine Arts Directorate at Kurdistan’s Ministry of Culture.  Director of the department Ashti Adoo told IraqiNews.com that the photos “held more than one meaning and aspect.”  “Some of the different themes the photos depicted included sports, media, those that told a story, and artistic photos,” he added.  Each photographer participating had 8 photos on display.  Hameed, a photographer that participated in the show, told IraqiNews.com that “this show stands out because most of the participants are young people who have a new, modern and special outlook for photography.”   RM (TS)/SR  514
